Some friends gifted me a pair of beats solo3. Audio quality is good but when I make calls (or generally when the mic is on), the audio quality is drasticaliiy degraded. I installed a tool on mac OS, and I noticed that when the mic is off headphone's sample rate is 48.0k, when the mic is on the sample rate is automatically reduced to 8.0K. The Solo Pro headphones have a very similar design to the Solo 3 headphones. They're made out of the same material, the ear cups are the same. The main difference is that the Pro model incorporates a bit of brushed aluminum around the earband. The folding hinges are also a bit stronger and the headband pad is thicker. Press and hold the power button + volume down button for 10 seconds on your headphone. Once the LED indicators start flashing, release the buttons.
