Icant force a natural regen with the wire trick as when the eml light comes on it kicks it out of forced regen! I did however force a regen with the fault code reader connected and constantly clicked the clear faults which seemed to perform the whole regen in just under 1 hr, however the dpf light didnt go out and the eml light came straight
I have heard that running the car at 2500rpm for 20 minutes (down the motorway, etc.) does a good job of clearing the dpf. March '22 - J12 1.3DIG-T 160 CVT Tekna+ with all wheel drive - Pearl Black. The DPF needs to be cleaned regularly, through a process called regeneration, either active, passive or forced regeneration, the accumulated soot is burnt off at high temperature (around 600°c) to leave only a residue of ash, effectively renewing or regenerating the filter, ready to take on more pollution from the engine.. 354 470 113 402 349 252 493 39
